The Impact of the Economic and Financial Crisis on the Foreign Trade in Metallurgical Products

Dobrotă, Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration, “Constantin Brâncuşi” University of Târgu-Jiu, Romania The manifestation of the global fi nancial crisis severely aff ected the foreign trade worldwide. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the impact of the fi nancial and economic crisis on foreign trade at the level of countries and groups ofcountries that have global leadership in the area, with an emphasis on the metallurgical products. The analysis results show that this branch was aff ected to a higher percentage compared to the amount of the value of the trade in goods.
